Going vegan is becoming more and more mainstream. With many celebrities now endorsing this brave and healthy lifestyle, many more people are asking themselves, “Is this right for me?”

Protein and B12- Two things lacking in a meat-free diet are proteins and B12 vitamins. Many vegans either take supplements or find other ways to get these important nutrients into their diet. This might mean eating protein fortified oatmeal for breakfast and snacking on some protein-packed nuts throughout the day. B12 on the other hand, can only be found naturally in meat.
